These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Aamna Masood (trading as Ames Aspire). By booking a session, using our website, or engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Services Provided
Ames Aspire offers professional services in:
Counseling
Coaching
EMDR Therapy (offered on a free or trial basis until certification is completed)
Sessions are delivered in-person or online, as agreed upon during booking. All services are provided on the basis of a collaborative, client-focused process.
2. Payments and Bookings
Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your session.
Payment can be made securely via Stripe or other approved methods.
Packages or block bookings must be paid in full or as agreed during the purchase.
All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in these Terms.
Sessions cannot be transferred to another individual.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
You must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed sessions will be charged in full.
In case of emergencies, exceptions may be granted at my discretion.
If I need to cancel a session, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund for that session.
4. Confidentiality and Data Protection
All sessions are confidential, and your data will be handled in compliance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
Information shared during sessions will not be disclosed unless:
Required by law.
There is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

5. Client Responsibilities
Attend sessions on time and in a safe, private environment for online appointments.
Engage in the process collaboratively. Counseling, therapy and coaching are not guaranteed to produce specific outcomes, as progress depends on individual circumstances and participation.
Disclose any relevant medical or mental health conditions, such as epilepsy or pregnancy, before beginning sessions.
6. Professional Boundaries
Services provided are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If required, you are encouraged to seek support from a medical professional.
The therapeutic relationship is professional and bound by ethical standards. Any inappropriate behavior may result in the termination of services.
7. Refunds
Payments are non-refundable except in the following circumstances:
I am unable to provide the agreed service.
A significant change to the service schedule prevents you from attending.
Refunds will not be provided for:
Missed sessions or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Partial use of a package or block booking.
8. Limitation of Liability
I will not be held liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from your participation in counseling, coaching, or therapy.
Online sessions depend on stable internet connectivity. Technical issues on your side must be resolved before the session; if issues persist, rescheduling may be offered at my discretion.
9. Health and Safety
For in-person sessions, please inform me of any health conditions or accessibility needs in advance.
Emergency contact information is collected for your safety and will only be used in urgent situations during a session.
10. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with the service provided, please contact me at ames@amesaspire.com within 28 days of the incident.
Complaints will be handled promptly, and a resolution will be sought wherever possible.
11. Intellectual Property
Materials provided during sessions are for your personal use only and may not be copied, shared, or redistributed without permission.
12. Use of Third-Party Services
Booking and appointment management may be facilitated through third-party platforms (e.g., Acuity Scheduling). Please review their privacy policies for details on how your data is handled.

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically to reflect changes in services or legal requirements. The most current version will always be available on the website. By continuing to use the services after updates, you agree to the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
